Their patch-up rumours started doing the rounds after Rajeev shared a loved-up photo of them on social media. The mushy click showed Rajeev and Charu sitting close to each other with Sen’s arms wrapped around Charu. This throwback picture left fans wondering if they are giving their relationship a second chance.
Now in a recent interview, Sushmita Sen’s brother revealed why he shared this romantic photo amid their divorce. He told Etimes TV, “For my latest post, the picture says it all.” He added a rose emoticon in the caption. In fact, Charu Asopa also posted a series of her photos wearing sindoor. Reacting to it, the actress clarified that she wore sindoor because she is still married and not divorced yet. The popular TV actress also spoke about if there is any chance of reconciliation between them and asserted they are no possibilities from her end. Etimes quoted her as saying, “Koi chamtkaar agar ho jaata hai toh pata nahi toh abhi mujhe aise koi chances nahi lag rahe. I have made up my mind. It’s really funny that after casting aspersions on me and accusing me of hiding my first marriage, something like this is happening. The accusation of me hiding my marriage from him is a lie.”
Rajeev and Charu tied the knot in 2019 and welcomed their first child, daughter Ziana in November 2021. Earlier this month, they took everyone by surprise after they announced their separation via a post on social media.
